  7. Well put Tmays and so good to see the forum back. I am still doing my TEA forms several days a week but feel like they are my new natural way of thinking now
  8. I was told I would have to be on meds for the rest of my life and have been COMPLETELY med free for several years now. It makes me mad when I hear professionals say things like this! My life changed for the better when I read the CBT book by Sam Obitz and Michelle Craske called Been there, done that? Do This!. It's real simple and the TEA form exercise is invaluable. If you work on countering your thoughts in them everyday you will be better than you ever thought possible sooner than you ever thought possible:) Doctors are not God and don't know everything.

    Hey Harlo, I wanted to send you a note to see how you are doing? I hope things are going better and that's why you have not posted for a while. That happens to me all the time Hugs!
  11. Wow I just replied to your note about your warehouse and had the wrong impression; sorry. I would recommend joining a CBT group or reading the CBT book by Sam obitz and start doing the TEA form exercise. I strongly suspect it's the anxiety producing way you process things that is causing a lot of your problems and I think CBT would help you a lot if you are willing to work on yourself. Good luck!
  12. Hi Shortbusninja, I'm not sure that would work for me but I am glad it works for you! There's more than one way to paint a picture. CBT/TEA forms were the answer for me and your warehouse works for you

    Hi Harlo, Sorry to hear that you are not clicking with your therapist. I hope he is at least a cbt specialist? If he's good at teaching you how to counter your thoughts in the TEA forms clicking is not essential because the work you do on them will be what helps you more than the sessions themselves, but if he's just a talker type therapist meshing with him would help.

  20. I actually I have run across several new posts on other boards here. Met a really sweet person named Harlo on one who sent me the nicest note today It would be nice if more people joined in on all these threads. I am happy to help if I can if anyone has any questions etc especially about CBT.

  23. I'm not ready to cut back yet, but I appreciate the encouragement. They really are no trouble at all to do I'm so used to doing them.
