Diet/Gym/Health/Sanity

I'm trying to go to the gym. Depression and anxiety keep me from it though. What are your thoughts on the nutriment/diet of kids and adolescents affecting their penis development, Yoth? I think it plays an important role. There used to be a member named Jessie who posted here with great insights about such questions. He was level headed and had a sad story. I guess he's dead now too. I miss him, I liked him a lot.

Sorry to intrude, not sure about the adolescents and penial growth development but to look into treat before they get older. Klingstor, on behalf of your depression and anxiety, it's best that you drink plenty of water if not the other thing you drink and go for some 5k jog/runs. When you are comfortable let those jogs turn into runs and wear comfy gear. Eat nutrients and keep pacing yourself until you hit "runners high". Try to also incorporate some weights and calisthenics before going on a run if you can. Cheers.

I got on my exercise bike yesterday & today. First time in years. Yesterday I managed 3:33 (min/sec) which was as spooky as it was pathetic. I knew I was unfit but that is taking the piss. Today I managed 15mins or so. Both accounts are shit, but I want to get back into good form. Well I struggle with routines so idk how that will go.

 

I have an itch take up boxing again too. Like, i like to shadowbox and when i do i just wish there was some idiot on the end of my punches. I don't have a problem with getting hit back either. Idk. I'm not fit enough and I'm a bit of a pussy. I don't hit hard either.

@Small At least you're back at it. I tried riding an actual bike and lost all feeling in my arse and balls, I was gutted. Since starting work with all my fucked up hours I'm turning back into a disgusting take out eating blob. On the plus side I don't really care I'm so tired, so there's that. And that TJ fight was the best I've seen in years, I screaming my head off watching that, really took the sting out of Bisping getting throttled. And Rose...fuck me, another amazing fight. What a card!

Yeah a card full of title changes. Blah. Bisping pisses me off so I'm glad gsp choked him out. He has such underrated boxing too. Bisping alluded that he would have tapped but he was put out too quickly to do it lol. Is Rose even that good?

I never pictured Joanna losing to her by KO. She also said on Ariel Helwani's show that she didn't tap. But idk it looked like a tap to me. She didn't contest the stoppage itself. Looks like she is a bit chinny imo. In her last fight she was hurt by some meaty shots too. I can't stand TJ. Such a dickhead. But hey if he fights mighty mouse next I'll be cheering him for one fight.

Mickey Gall lost too by the way. To some guy ranked 60th. That makes Punk look like a complete nobody. I'm nervous about Khabib vs Barboza in December though. I really want Khabib vs Conor but this guy's a killer & hope he doesn't fuck it up. 

Yeah work does that to you Yoth. My dieting habits were on point until I started my last job a couple of years back & I've put on weight since. If I'm not comfortable in my body i feel very agitated so life is shit on that front. The problem is that I'm addicted to junk food. Idk. I want to make a serious go of getting back my shape.

One thing that makes me look odd are my thin wrists. You will probably see teenage girls with thicker wrists. I think wrists density has a profound effect on punch power. When I first started boxing my wrists felt sprained after heavy bag sessions.

So like, I can't straight up chin a guy and knock him out. I'll need a few shots and even then I don't know. I think I'm chinny too. In fact I know I am. I'm not strong either. So I'm not tough.

I prioritize exercise and health. I lose my mind if i go a week without a good workout. I even brave the dreaded gym locker room when i must. When i'm depressed i go less. When i'm in a frenzy of sexual obsession and fantasy binging, i go less often. And for me to come back from those absolutely requires some degree of physical health.

I have issues being around society, so outdoor or gym exercise is off limits. I'm extremely introverted & have reclusive habits. When I'm not working I spend most of my time in bed reflecting. I stare at my body for hours, and examine the contours. My family are social but I find myself unable to attend their shindigs. 

 

 

At one point I managed to spend 2 years in bed, only getting up to eat & use the bathroom. My brother tried to have me sectioned in a psychiatric hospital but that didn't work out. I spent some time in hospital for other other issues though. That was rough.

 

I do have my insecurities but I'm not fearful of people. They just piss me off. I love isolation. I'd love being sectioned if it was solitary but they'd probably force me to socialise and that's hell. Anyway, yeah. So I don't get out much & can't do traditional exercise. 

 

So an exercise bike in front of the tv to get my blood flowing & a light sweat. I'm not into heavy exercise. I sleep a lot too. It's my favorite thing ever. I'd take sleep over any wakeful activity. 

 

Health is a wonderful thing. So is beauty & youth. I suppose the 3 are intrinsically connected. You strike me as a lad. That's nice. So strange how so many different people are brought together over our sps issues.

I wish I could take a mouthful of pills and transport myself to a fantasy land and never come back. It's funny that when you talk to people individually, everyone just wants to be left alone to live their life, yet the world is so shitty. It's the hypocrisy and lies I hate about our species. No other organism has this innate craving for deceit.

@Lodz , @KlingsorI took some of those pills last week. Lost a few days. 

Lodz, what is your system for getting in and out of the gym without getting naked etc or do you just go for it? I've often thought if I just appeared as a stranger it wouldn't be an issue but if anyone knew me there it'd be a nightmare.

When I go to the gym I just wait until I get home to change and shower. Where I live it's a short commute.

@Small I used to an extrovert in college but years of just going to work and coming home have left me all alone.  Although I am thinking on how to change that.  

I used to go to a couple of different gyms but got fed up w it being crowded and having to wait for a machine or bench etc. It just became time consuming and taxing.  I worked out at home for years but have been slacking here in 2017.

I'm proud of you who were ever extroverted. I have been introverted my whole life and being in crowds just turns my stomach. i do okay one on one or in small groups but I hate large parties, meetings, etc...

I also don't like a packed gym and that's why I go at "off" times so i don't have to deal with that aspect.

Maybe if everyone would just "drink the kool-aid" and agree that I am always right and i might not mind people as bad then. :Dunno:

@YOTH like @lostboy1 said, the easy way is to go straight home and shower there. I tend to go at off times too and then i can pick a corner locker and face the corner when i dry off. I dress very quickly and try to wait til no one's around or atbleast no ine nearby or facing me beforeni droo the towel and put my on boxers (knickers if you prefer 😂) in a hurry. Often the only time i have to hit the gym is in the morning on the way to work.

Also... don't tell anyone i told you this... but a while back i started using my bathmate in the gym shower so if anyone catches a glimpse, i don't look super small, especially for a guy who just worked out.
