Actually, John, I don't mind off-topic posts, to the extent that those participating in the conversation want to let that conversation drift. All conversations drift. I prefer that people not delete stuff, but that's a personal preference not a rule. In the end, it's their stuff ... Even if we decide to return the conversation to its original course, I don't see it as a problem to retain the history of how it has wandered. You can do a good study on just 100 women. If it's random selection then you get a good representative of the general population. Not only does it have to be random there arre just so many things that are taken into account when trying to attain a good representative sample. But obviously a larger sample size is always better. For their study 400 should have been right because with that statistical confidence their study would have more power. (400 is not number I pulled out of my ass. It is a statistical calculation. 384 to be exact)

That's exactly what they were trying to do. To remove every other component and just keep it only about physical attributes. That's the only way they can do the study objectively to find out if penis size matters or not. If the study was on other qualities that attract women they would do what you're talking about. What's interesting is that women took less time deciding on the rating of the images with smaller penises than the time they took to decide on a rating for an image with a larger penis. That tells you they outright reject the smaller penises. It's wired in their brain. It's what it is. And that hurts me too. You can't blame them for that or call them size queens. That would be offensive

Hi, just stumbled upon here browsing on google looking for what the "other side" feels as a larger man. There seems to be some myths floating around in this thread.

Now, just to be clear, I am not here to talk about how a large penis is so terrible. Large penises are practically worshipped in popular culture. But I'm more here to say that just because you have a large penis doesn't mean you are going to have sex like a pornstar.

Sex hurts more with a large girth. Smaller women might not be able to handle it at all (seriously, there are women that just turn away once you start passing a 6" girth), some women won't ever really be able to adapt to it and find sex painful for a long time, and most women will get sore in less then 15 minutes and jump off. You also have to prepare for the large girth with lots of foreplay to limber things up, so no quickies. Some women, believe it or not, simply do not prefer large penises, perticularly the inexperienced and those with tight vaginas.

It also limits your other sex acts. Blowjobs are often an affair where the woman cannot fit more then the head inside, in fact SMALL men probably get the best blowjobs of any size. Large men almost never get any anal sex from women as well.

A long length can cause problems, as most girls don't like having their cervexs stabbed, and even the more masochistic girls don't like getting it stabbed that much. Certain positions, like doggystyle, encourage you to injure your partner. And when I say injure, I mean tearing, bruising, bleeding, crying, stuff that is not very cool in reality. You won't see large men jackhammering away at women like in porn because of this. That's all well and good if you're only 4% larger then the average man, but some of us are a bit larger then that, and we end up with red rings of death around the base that can cause erectile dysfunction.

Again, I realize that many men would LOVE to have my problems if it meant not having the self-confidence issues that come along with a small penis. Heck, I've been told by men before how much more confident they would feel if they had a large penis.
