my work is almost fun today, we are getting a new server so we can't get in our software, so all we can do is play on the internet. What a shame.

D'oh. I need a job with mandatory surfing.

Ha, well actually, I really should be doing some cleaning and filing before we get our bills in, any day now, but I am procrastinating as usual, I work better under pressure.

We had an inspector watching us work all day...it wasn't fun at all.. We actually had to look busy...

How do you look busy, selling clothing? Don't the customers do all the work? :-)

Oh, I know they just make the mess, you have to clean it up. Did you at least get to work in ladies' wear?

We get boxes of clothes delivered every morning so we have to unpack them and put them out on the rails. It's so annoying when the customers throw everything on the floor... Sometimes I get to work in ladies. depends what manager is in.

We used to get truck deliveries at the drug store, every few weeks. It was fun, spending half a day with a hand cart, wheeling a stack of boxes bigger than you are through a crowded store. Good exercise, too.

Working in a store did teach me to put something back if I don't want it. I hated people who would just leave it wherever they happened to be standing when they realized they didn't want something.

Yeah I'm a lot nicer to people that work in shops now when I'm doing my shopping. Yuck I hate work so much. The thoughts of working the next 3 days is killing me.................

That would be one way to get out of work: call in dead. :-P

Yep, I got here late and I'm sticking around for stuff like posting in my blog and checking on my friends. :-)

It's still light here. And I have heard it's harder adjusting when you go East than when you go the other way. But you've been back for weeks; my guess is, it's just in your head. You wish you were still here. ;-)

Yeah I really do wish I was still there. I felt happy when I was there!! and all the people were so nice! and ye have that big "target" shop over there... I'm so jealous. That's the best shop I've ever been in, ever!!! I wish we had one like that over here........
