Look, I'm not helping! :-)

I'm sorry you're hurt, sweety. If you need me to, I'll leave you alone, but I'm not going to tell you to get lost. You have enough people in your life who do that.

well I kind of think you shouldnt think how can i fix "everything" cause you can't. I think that is starts by making little changes. Maybe pick one thing and try focusing on that.

Or I could be wrong, I dunno :(

but I do understand, I always want to fix everything and right now!

But it's not that easy, it takes effort and work.

I don't know.

"Something different" might be to try to enjoy it and not worry about what people think of you, but that might be too different for you.

But you can do anything you want about it. That's the beautiful part about it being your life.

i have tried to enjoy it. i have 2 stupid options: stay in college and be miserable for the next 3 years or drop out of college and work. either way i'll be unhappy. there's nothing beautiful about that

You might have only two options, stay in or drop out.

But both of those options were followed by things that aren't necessarily true.

What do you expect to do after college, if not work? So if work equals unhappiness, then you're right, you and every other non-rich adult is doomed in the same way.

Well, I know what the third leg of your tripod is:

And there are no other jobs in Ireland.

This is your mind swirling and circling. Mine does it too, if I don't make it stop. You keep telling yourself one unprovable but true-sounding thing after another, until you get back to where you started, and then you do it again.

What I have to do, first, is make it stop. Breathe, meditate, whatever. I mean, if the problem is that unsolvable, spending a few minutes to relax won't hurt you.

From that point, I try to take baby steps. Make a list with really simple goals, and then do at least three of the steps without thinking again. Usually I try to list stuff that doesn't really affect the big swirly decisions, just little stuff like taking care of myself and being nice to myself. Stuff that can't really be wrong, no matter what.

Quite often, my mood is different after I've done some of that.
