mts
Concentrate on one subject a day for thirty minutes, whilst bringing your mind "by the scruff of the neck" back to the subject every time it wonders. Just read it in a self help book. Sounds incredibly hard to me. I have a tendency to lose track of my thoughts.
Victimorthecrime
The key for me is to not react to every little distraction but rather to remain calm keep an easy focus. Tension shatters my tranquility. mts

mts
Less erratic or more purposeful, efficient or useful thinking, perhaps? I often find that I just spend most of my time pointlessly worrying. Edited November 8, 2016 by mts changed to question, since not properly updating a previous edit made it look I was expectatant that this "must work"
mts
I'm not sure the author said 30 minutes a day actually; and he definitely said that one should start things off quietly (small).
