I think it's good that you are able to openly share with your mom and she is supportive of you. OCD can cause feelings of anxiety as well as intrusive thoughts about any subject matter. Are you able to engage in any relaxation techniques? Deep breathing can be helpful. It may not seem like much, but it can redirect your mind and your energy away from irrational, intrusive thoughts and also help bring you back to the present moment. If you continue to struggle with anxiety, maybe your mom could take you to talk with a professional? In the meantime, I hope you are able to participate in some fun activities this summer. Take care.
