OCDmom Posted June 13, 2009 Report Share Posted June 13, 2009 Hi everyone. I am being treated for depression, but I fear that my husband has a mental health problem as well. He seems to be hallucinating visually. He confides that he sees a white mist hovering near him. Can anyone tell me the possible disorders that have hallucinations as symptom? Thanks. OCDmom Posted June 14, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 14, 2009 He is not taking any medications and he's never been to a psychiatrist. These "mists" he is seeing come and go. He is aware that he is under a lot of stress and that what he sees are possibly not real. He's had major setbacks prior to our marriage which was only 3 years ago. His family got evicted from their home. His mother died. And the regular stress of married life, I guess, is compounded by my depression and our financial situation.
