JackieH Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 I was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this. I sometimes will still be able to make myself fall asleep when I am manic by turning off the lights and laying in my bed. Sometimes it takes a while to fall asleep but I still get about 7 hours of sleep if I can do it. Can anyone relate? Or do you think that when you are manic this is nearly impossible?
Lindamomof7 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 Hi Jackie, yes for sure that happens. And my waking in the middle of the night and staying up lets me know that I am switching up and then at those times I have a hard time falling asleep. So, I really make sure my day and night routine is kept consistant with no added problems like caffeine and also that I really make sure I am tired before my head hits the pillow to avoid laying there physically tired but the head won't shut off...
