Tash, please take care. The impulsive behavior that comes with mania is just as destructive as (and often much more quickly than) the depressions.

Do you have someone who can take charge of your finances (like credit cards) temporarily? Do you have a psychiatrist you can call?

It's important to keep yourself safe.

No, tash, I know too many people with bipolar to use the word "crazy" much.

It's part of the disease, that's all.

You might want to ask for company as much as possible, too, depending on how impulsive you tend to get. Someone you trust can talk you down from, say, trying to take parachuting lessons or something. Not to mention seeing that psychiatrist: bipolar disorder tends to get worse when it's untreated (it's called the kindling effect.)

parachuting lessons I had to laugh as at the same time I thought that could be fun. Talking about fun things to do I have always wanted to do tree surfing thats not to dangerous. Maybe one day I will get the chance to do it. anyone got any ideas of fun activities that they would like to try post them here

Tree surfing? What's that? :-)

Doesn't sound like an activity that the trees enjoy ...

Face it, tash: at the moment, you'd probably laugh at anything I said. ;-)

Please try to stay safe, won't you?

We'd like you to be in one piece at the end of the day.

I'm sorry, tash: work won't let me view YouTube, so I'll have to wait until I get home.

I'd be worried about splinters, though, just from the sound of it. Not to mention angry squirrels. :-)

Take care of yourself, the next few days, okay?

Tash..you so funny, I worry though, but I am also pleased that maybe you recognize this as it is. Take Maligns suggestions on keeping company while you enjoy you "high". I just hope you don't have a crash landing whether tree surfing or not.

Maybe you are having a good time because it's my 50th birthday today:D

I was just going to ask how you were doing. I hope you can manage some sleep so that you won't crash to hard. I can't remember, but are you taking any mood stablizers? when I am manic my pdoc wants to make sure I take my seroquel so that I can sleep at night, it also helps keep those manic moments under control a bit. but , then medication works different for different people. Take a hot bath and read a book and see if that helps. Good luck..and thanks for the birthday party.

The longest time that I have not slept for has been a week. Linda that must have been horrible for you having to go a month without sleep. Im now begining to feel Like I hate all this shit all the time. I hate these ups and down and then the crash landings. I know the high is on its way down as all day I have not been able to focus on anything. In work if people talked to me I just couldnt take in what they were saying if I was talking on the phone there would be this long pause. Still dont think I am going to be able to sleep mind is not ready to shut down completly. Im going to go and have a bath and listen to some music to see if that will relax me enough so I can get a couple hours before I have to get up to feed the horses.

Hi Tash..I am glad you made an appointment to see doctor. I hope you can get something to help you out..in the meantime I want you to know I layed out a bunch of fluffy pillows for you, so that when you come back down you won't have such a hard landing...its the thought that counts. Let me know how you are doing, I hope that you can get some sleep tonight.

Thank you so much for you support.

I didnt get any sleep last night. But am feeling like I dont want today to be here. Because I know I have to face the world again today.

Thanks shannon for laying the pillows out for me so i can have a soft landing that is such a nice thought.:D

Linda I do drink lots of coffee but do stay off the stuff when I am on a high as I know that does not help me

I hope you both are well
