padalicious
So, the therapist I've been working with since 2008 on and off and then consistently within the last year had a loss in her family and hasn't seen me in a couple of months. Now she's contacted me and told me that she's no longer taking patients and can facilitate my transfer to another therapist at my school (its free to see them), but I have a really hard time trusting people and I really dont want to start over with a new therapist. What am I supposed to do?

Lana73
I am sorry that your therapist cannot see you anymore. It is a loss, a big one.:(It is very hard to build that kind of trust again, but it is possible. Just be open and give it a chance. You never know, you might like your new therapist better than the old one everything is possible, right?
