Nice.  I am fortunate to have a friend that has a vast collection of horror movies (and other movies). I love the ones from the 80s on back through the 1940s.  I have seems literally hundreds of films w him over the years and can't remember the names of most of them.

There is a company called Vinegar Syndrome that finds and re-releases old gems from the bygone era.  Check them out.  I assume they distribute in the U.K.  I am in America btw.

If you can think of any other names of good ones let me know.  We plan on going to a celebrity signing and movie convention in October and my friend loads up on DVDs.

Was racking my brains trying to find some movies I hadn't seen, ended up watching the Daniel Craig Bond movies. Started last night with Casino Royale and I totally get why I couldn't get through it the first time which is probably why I didn't watch any of the others. It's a weird movie. I could start with Bond climbing up a crane like a chimpanzee instead of just waiting for the guy to climb back down, but the 30 minute poker game with a poisoning mid match was just a weird way to open a new set of movies. Then Bond has his balls mashed into porridge only to be banging away two scenes later (he recovers fast). The story was boring but I persevered. Then there was the car chase YAY! That lasted 30 seconds. And it all ends with a house sinking in Venice and twist that was so fucking stupid I didn't see it coming because why would I? Bond: "Wasn't she vetted?" M: "We were too busy watching the enemy we forgot to look". Ok then, that sounds plausible. I'm just finishing QOS now. It's a better movie, but I'm still struggling to call either of them good.

They're not easy to watch either. I find myself zoning out and having to zone back in every few minutes. I feel like I've watched everything, I'm struggling to find something new to watch that hooks me in straight away. Gotham has left a gaping hole, I wish I'd paced myself instead ploughing through it all in a month. I've re-watched Boardwalk Empire and now I'm at a loss.

It sounds good in theory, but you can never tell with TV shows based on comics. It's either amazing like Gotham/The Punisher etc, or shit, like Agents of Shield. I'll definitely give it a go, I'm struggling to digest this much pure Columbian uncut Daniel Craig's Bond. I might have to cut it with GoldenEye or something.
