I am nearly 40 yrs old, and also come from a family of child abuse . We were very young and all my brothers and I were taken away, and split up. then in foster care, my Foster mother was abusive. that I remember, but, not the rest because I was too little. I have quite A history of self harm as well. ANd have woke up with scratches all over my chest on more then one occasion... Just wanted you to know that your not alone, and I can understand.
