AmericanPsycho
For 11 years I've had to deal with a trumped up Domestic Violence conviction. There hasn't been a day that I haven't thought about it. Michigan's new Governor amended the expungement requirements. Under the old requirements you could only have one conviction to qualify. I have two misdemeanor convictions on my record. Now you can have up to three misdemeanors. I now have the opportunity to put the BS conviction that has plagued me for 11 years in the past and move on with my life.

AmericanPsycho
Definitely a game changer for sure. With that conviction gone I'm free to start gunsmithing. Working on guns is something I really enjoy. I'll no longer have that conviction on my conscience anymore. Even finding out that I'm able to have the conviction taken off my record was a huge relief. AmericanPsycho
Have a consultation with an Attorney tomorrow to discuss the expungement.
AmericanPsycho
The Attorney ran into some detours but got a hold of me this morning. The Attorney told me the chances are excellent of the DV being expunged. Going to cost me a whopping $750 but it will be worth it.
