AmericanPsycho
She's going back to school in Shittycago to become a Doctor. She said there's a fair chance that she'll stay in touch with me after leaving the Crazy Clinic.
Victimorthecrime
Will she at least transition you to another therapist first?

malign
How do you feel about her leaving, AP? Is she someone that you've learned to like? Will you get any chance to meet, or even choose, the person who takes over when she's gone?
AmericanPsycho
How do you feel about her leaving, AP? Is she someone that you've learned to like? Will you get any chance to meet, or even choose, the person who takes over when she's gone? It's depressing even if she agrees to stay in touch with me after leaving. Absolutely I did. No doubt that I'll get to choose my next Therapist, and I already have somebody in mind.
malign
Well, I think it's great; first, that you found someone you liked, and second, that you'll have a say in choosing the next person. Good people do exist, and it is possible to find them and choose to spend our time with them instead of the others.

malign
Well, hopefully I'm a good echo rather than an annoying one. ;-)And it's not as important that she tells you, as it is that she demonstrates it ...
AmericanPsycho
My Therapist keeps her word. Very seldom do I come across a peer that I connect well with. I really hope she stays in contact with me on a personal if she no longer works at the Crazy Clinic. I don't believe it would be inappropriate since she'd no longer be my Therapist.
