gone Posted January 13, 2014 Report Share Posted January 13, 2014 My wife's dad passed away this last weekend. He was a heavy smoker and had been fighting lung cancer for a little over a year now. I don't think the cancer killed him as much as the radiation and chemo. Wutty3 Posted January 13, 2014 Report Share Posted January 13, 2014 I am so sorry to hear that., I lost my little brother to cancer. To be honest his passing was a mixed blessing, He just didn't have the strength to battle the cancer...the chemo...and the radiation. His body just gave up. I miss him dearly but at least he is not in pain anymore. I know his spirit is in heaven and that is a far better place than here living in pain and hopelessness. gone Posted January 16, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 16, 2014 Thanks all. I've been out of town. The funeral was Wednesday.
