Welcome, Otter. My name is Beth and I like dogs too. I currently struggle with anxiety and insomnia. I'm sorry about the panic attacks. :( I hope you will be gentle with yourself in this. Does deep breathing help? Exercise? Calming techniques? Do you have any dogs? I actually find walking our pups to be very relaxing and a great stress reliever.

Hello Beth! Nice meeting you.Unfortunately I don't have a dog,mine died 2 years back.But I am thinking about taking a pup.I also hope your anxiety and insomnia will go down soon,I know its stressfull and sucks energy out of you.But guess we will get over it!
