I'm worried about my husband, Joe. The upgrading of my husband's net cafe is long overdue, but we couldn't raise enough money to do it. Now we are down to two computers and we still don't have any money, since it's a hand-to-mouth existence for us. Recently we approached his father to borrow money but he said he didn't have any.

Then we just found out that earlier this September his father terminated his insurance and collected 100,000. pesos for himself. Joe and his sister tried to call him but he wasn't answering.

And to think that we only needed a quarter of that amount to help us on our feet. Needless to say, we were all disappointed, but not as much as Joe. He still couldn't believe that his own father would do that to him.

I woke up about an hour ago and found him still on his computer, awake, couldn't sleep. I told him to get some sleep and I would start applying for a job tomorrow.
