godlistener Posted June 25, 2008 Report Share Posted June 25, 2008 I am a 57 year old woman who was thrown into a Manic state due to a high dose of Prednazone (tirating down for weeks on lower doses). They thought I had an Multiple Sclerosis episode (as I have that as well) but they were wrong. Then I got to a point where I couln't sleep for days and was hospitalized. Later was diagnosed Bipolar II. I'm still reeling from all the medication changes, counselors, and hospitalizations. Now I'm trying to mop up and develop as normal a life as I can. I just found this site and I'm grateful for a place to unload. I would be happy to hear from anyone who has advice for "moving on."
