...Any advice for a newly diagnosed severe bipolar (not sure which type)?

General advice is welcome although feel free to tell me what an absolute c... i am and how i deserve everything bad that has happened too me....Oh wait my ex isn't reading this forum is she.....

Just a bit confused right now guys, i was hoping maybe somebody could gently nudge me in the right direction as to what it's like having bipolar disorder long term?
