Is Anyone On Topamax?

Is anyone on topamax or have a family member/friend on topamax? How do you or they feel it works? How many of the stated side effects do you notice?

I have been fairly well managed on other medications for about 2 years now but I feel they are not doing enough. I had an allergic reaction to Lamictal and was on Depakote but did not like how "blah" it made me feel. I felt no real emotion on Depakote. I haven't tried stronger meds like Lithium because I have friends who take it and are totally gorked out. My biggest concern is feeling emotionless on meds. I do want to be stabilized but I hate feeling nothing. How does topamax rate as far as this is concerned??
