mscat
Hi there, I am not a professional , however, I know what you are talking about. I use to run in high school. Long distance . Your talking about what is referred to as runners high. The sudden release of endorhines in the brain , that makes a very tired runner, able to start running again, and faster then ever. OMG, it is awesome to feel that rush . YES, it is a healthy way of coping with depression. I use to love that feeling . I also know that you have to be a pretty good runner , and have the motivation to continue . Continue until you don't think you can go on. Suddenly , you feel it. It is a positive , and healthy way to cope with depression That is a wonderful way to lift yourself out of it. It is also fun , and feels awesome.
