firefoxsilver9
About a year ago I the psychriatrist i was seeing requested that i get some lab work done. Recently i've been reading "The Depression Workbook" by Mary Ellen Copeland and there's a chapter in it about getting tested for all possible medical causes for Depression (Thyroid battery tests, glucose tolerance etc) I got a copy of those labs today and I'm trying to figure out if I indeed had those tests done. Can anyojne tell me what i should be looking for? I can scan them if necessary. I'm thinking of asking during my next appointment to get those tests done if i haven't already. kaudio
You should meet with your Dr. and discuss these test results.
Lindamomof7
Yes these medical tests can help the Dr figure out if you have any physical causes for your depression. A lot of medical illness mimick other illnesses and depression. So one step at a time... Good Luck...
