08hduc
Without giving up any personal information, is anyone receiving full disability benefits from Social Security for the Bi-Polar diagnosis? How long was the process for you?How much BS did SSA put you through? My companies long term disability insurance required me to attempt to obtain SSA disability. I have been denied 2 times and am at the magistrate appeal level. Due to my issues I did NOT use a lawyer but opted to slug it out by myself. The LTD company has now demanded I use counsel and set me up with a firm. Ironically the law firm said they usually won't take a case this far along in the process. Either way I have to appear on Feb 12th to ask for a continuance until counsel makes a decision. Thanks
Lindamomof7
Do you have a county/state advocacy office for disabilities? Bipolar is considered a medical diagnosis, not mental. Try searching your local dept of disabilities... or try and contact NAMI in your local area and see who they suggest...
