misrbl1 Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 My mind is 100% made up. Wifey is putting a genuine effort in to make our relationship better, and in order to give her the best chance, I need to eliminate interactions with her trigger, more specifically, our soon-to-be "ex". The only problem is I still have such strong feelings for her. But in order to be fair and show Wifey that I'M serious about making this work, OW has to go. So how do I tell her? I've been trying to for days now, but I can't bring myself to do it. She's been nothing but wonderful to me, and she deserves a chance to find happiness without any hang-ups.
malign Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Maybe you've already found how to start it:"You've been nothing but wonderful to me, and you deserve a chance to find happiness without any hang-ups."Given that you've decided, the only reason not to tell her is to hedge your bets, which isn't really fair. And maybe it's a good time to find another way to refer to 'Wifey', too ...Oh, and posts titled "How to end it" usually mean suicidal, to me. I'm glad this is one about moving forward, instead. :-)
