soaring eagle
When my anxiety comes it seems like I want to be alone and then I have a fear when I go to town that people are staring at me and talking and laughing behind my back.It takes me weeks to get over this, my children are convinced that I have no friends because i never visit anybody or people visit me which very few. Gayle
Hi, Soaring Eagle. The part that of your post that stands out to me is the "takes me weeks to get over this" part.Do you feel like you can't go anywhere until you're anxiety-free?It's possible that your anxiety is just THAT powerful. But could it also be that you're giving it even MORE power by letting it control what you do?Take care, G.
Waiting
Hi Soaring Eagle,Have you spoken to your doctor about this or do you have a therapist? I have anxiety as well, but of a different sort i think. What makes your anxiety come?
Guest ASchwartz
Hello Soaring Eagle,Sometimes, when people have the kinds of anxieties about being stared at and talked about, they are really having bad thoughts about themselves. Do you think poorly of yourself?Allan
