You know, it proves absolutely nothing that you can use words that would've made my mother cringe, though she knew what they meant. It doesn't make you a bad-ass, any more than my wife's bogus protective order (it got thrown out of court) makes me one.

And I do know your memory contains images that no child should ever have to encounter ... but I know from talking to others here that yours isn't the only memory like that, as sad as that fact is. The question is why you have to make yourself out to be so horrible when you don't see others who had similar experiences that way.
