Musicman Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 There is nothing you shouldn't tell a therapist, including the possibilities that you might kill yourself/others. The therapist is there to help you, and he/she cannot do that job unless given the correct information. I'm not trying to claim that I tell my therapist anything and everything, but what I do hold back is due to embarrassment more than anything else, and I find that with time, I hold back less and less. If you seriously plan to hurt yourself, your therapist will put you in a hospital. The same will likely happen if you plan to hurt others.
pascal reeve Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 More informations you tell therapist, more help you will get. If you decide to accept therapist help, then you should tell everything what is happening.I totally agree with musicman's post.
