Freak-uency

Ah well {that was for smallstar}, I realized that I've been neglecting my old friend bloggy, as well as the communications channel to my friends (and my self), so I'm going to make a bit more of an effort in this direction, at least for a while {I try to be as honest as I can be, when I do blog. ;-) }

Yesterday, I felt like I was at a standstill, and then ...

I had car trouble on my commute home, including a "Service Engine" light. And when I got home, there was a notice on the other car (that's a long story, too; I'll gloss over it for now) that said that the apartment management had noticed that the car had been parked there a long time, so that if there was an extra person living with me, it was a condition of my lease that I notify them, and if not, I need another parking sticker for it, which they won't give me because there's only me living there. {The run-on was deliberate; it "goes to state of mind", as they say in court.}

So, last night was a bit rough. ;-)

But, I made a plan. I got up at 5:00 a.m., got ready for work, drove to the dealership, put the car in, drove a rental car to work. Got here early enough to get off early for therapy tonight, and an hour before the meeting I got drafted into. Got a call later in the afternoon that my car just needed an ignition coil {I guess the old ignition had started to straighten?}, the repair was covered by warranty along with the rental car, and it will be ready tomorrow.

So. The lesson is, as I quoted to someone yesterday, "... if you try sometimes, you get what you need." I haven't done any of yesterday's stuff, but I caught back up, and I'm pleased.

Tomorrow will have to take care of itself. ;-)

I think that that may be the first run on sentence I've ever seen you write :D

Well, let me just say, you are really good at this being positive thing if you're able to spin car trouble and getting up at 5am (:eek:) into a good thing!

Anyway, I do hope for you that you feel more movement so that you can feel better. I'm sorry you hurt. :)

I write run-ons, sometimes, for effect. :-)

All's well that ends well, starry. Even more so if they start out as a pain in the a$$.

Think how good you'll feel when this is all over.
