I never done anything like explicitly illegal.

I am getting help for my attractions. My psychiatrist and professional psychologist, who deals with child porn cases, said it was not illegal the youtube videos. Both of them explained to be exactly what would be illegal to do. I go to a group as well every week. Not because I have to but because I want to.

We can't help our attractions or our reactions to certain stimuli. It's not your fault. A few years ago my brother's work colleague killed himself along with his wife in a double suicide after their computer was confiscated by the police. Official reports said their drives had explicit photographs of underage children with varying degrees of suggestibility. I am against the abuse of anyone of any age, but the taboo surrounding a sexual attraction towards children is bigotry. are these:

-- are the performers under 18, or presented to the viewer as underage (so "Barely Legal!!!" is cheesy but probably OK);

then, if the performers are underage,

-- are they nude

or

-- peforming sex acts or simulated sex acts.

If you want the exact wording of the law (in the USA), it's in 18 U.S.C. section 2256, as follows:

(2)

(A) Except as provided in subparagraph B, “sexually explicit conduct” means actual or simulated—

(i) sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex;

(ii) bestiality;

(iii) masturbation;

(iv) sadistic or masochistic abuse; or

(v) lascivious exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of any person;

B. For purposes of subsection 8 B [1] of this section, “sexually explicit conduct” means—

(i) graphic sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex, or lascivious simulated sexual intercourse where the genitals, breast, or pubic area of any person is exhibited;

(ii) graphic or lascivious simulated;

You might be tempted to ask, "well, what exactly is graphic or simulated lascivious exhibition of the genitals or pubic area"?

Put it this way: if it's a turn-on for you, then it's probably prohibited by the law.

No, a photo of a kid taking a leak, or mooning his older brother, probably isn't inherently erotic.

But if a guy's computer has 50 photographs of kids urinating, and he's not a pediatric urologist,

then it's probably child porn in his case.

I know that the section above says "any person;" but another section makes it clear that "any person" doesn't cover adults.
