Calla
....be a big fish in a little pond or a little fish in a big pond?
IrmaJean
Great thinking question, Calla! In the past, I'd have answered a little fish in a big pond. Actually this is where I'm most comfortable, but it isn't really what I want...if that makes any sense...A friend once told me that it wasn't the pain of my being unknown that frightened me the most, but rather my greatest fears were of my potential power. I believe that insight was dead-on correct.I choose now to be a big fish in a little pond.
Calla
Thats really interesting. Because I can understand that. I used to be a "medium" sized fish in a fairly small pond. But now I'm more like a tiddler in the sea And I kind of prefer the anonymity of it but also the excitement of the ocean. But what you say makes sense. I'd rather be a dolphin but still in the sea
