What is the source of this information about AD-induced promiscuity?In the case of a bipolar person, sometimes taking antidepressants can trigger a manic episode, during which uncharacteristic behavior such as promiscuity emerges. I hadn't been near anyone for 7 yrs and been depressed (I think) most of my life. I have been on ADs for a yr and have recently slept with 2 men.....and its come as a bit of a shock to me.
