I saw the picture of the refrigerator that you posted.  It looks perfect for an apartment, not too big not too small and easy on the electric bill (compared to a larger one). 

I know what you mean about waiting for news.  It can be disconcerting.  I had a couple of really minor scrapes w the law many years ago and I can really suck waiting to see what they are gonna do in terms of a fine or loss of privileges etc I pretty sure that is designed to be part of the punishment.  

If you don't like what they have to say get a lawyer and file an appeal.  I am telling you, the right lawyer can make things happen beyond what the penal system will tell you is possible.
