ozzy
I'm tired of trying to be able to stand on my own 2 feet. it seems society will always focus on the negative stereotypes associated with mental illness. everyone has their own problems, "sane" or not. it just stings more when you've been trying to reach out for help and people laugh at you. IrmaJean
Welcome to the community, Ozzy. I'm sorry you are struggling. I'm sorry the people you have reached out to have not been supportive. We all need support at times, I think. Would it help to express more about your experiences and feelings? We are here to listen. Take care. jazz
Hi Ozzy. Sorry you are having such a difficult time and haven't had the support you deserve. I know what you mean about negative stereotypes - I've had psychosis and there is a very negative stereotype associated with that. I ended up telling people I'd just been unwell rather than the full story, it was easier. Please don't give up hope. Situations and circumstances can change.
