First day of school

inferiority

Well today was my first day back in school and ill admit that it was very hectic and stressful, but not so much so that i was phased that much by it.

most of my teachers seemed nice, but my math teacher was sort of freaking me out by telling me how hard the class was going to be once i reached senior year. :o but this too wasn't enough to really get to me, ill worry about taht during senior year.

Got through all of my classes today pretty well, even my child psych class, with all of the females. (only females actually lol). The girls there seemed to take a little bit of a liking towards me as a friend, and were saying that they really liked my "accent" that they couldn't place it and it is really interesting.

After school i went into the elementary guidance and did some unfinished business that i promised i would do months ago that i don't feel i need to get into, and they took the news very seriously and said they would investigate this issue immediately and promised to leave me anonymous at my request.

overall it was a pretty good day, but im still getting a bit of signing things done and a bit of other work as well, but nothing major.

ha time for some random picking throuhg teh textbook at things i hae never seen before :P

gah, i can't really find any that i can recreate in here, they all have markings i can't type in :(

differentiate y = arcsinx + x√(1-x^2)

not sure, but im sur eyoull find it easy :o

dy/dx=1/sqrt(1-x^2) + sqrt(1-x^2) +(1/2)(x/(1-x^2))(-2x)

=1/sqrt(1-x^2) + sqrt(1-x^2) –x/sqrt(1-x^2)

=(1+1-x^2 –x)/sqrt(1-x^2)

=-(x^2+x-2)/sqrt(1-x^2)

it's possible there's an error in there somewhere and I know it;s not in the right simplified form, but that's the general idea

I can see that this blog is no place for someone with a math knowledge like me :P. That's okay. I've got work I SHOULD be doing, and being on here is only helping me procrastinate :(

Agreed, I'm lost, lol

Not really this year. After moving from private school to public school, it's all really strange. I took Algebra II last year, and though I did really poorly, I did end up passing. They put me in a class called "Integrated Math III," which pretty much seems to be a really simplified version of what I took last year. I think it was a mistake, but I don't really mind. I'm doing really well, it can probably take the place of my last math grade on my transcript, and if I find I need to, I can take two maths next year.

here's the trick to "easy" though--once you get far enough along, even if you know the techniques well, EVERYTHING still involves work. Sometimes a considerable amount of it. those are the times when you see your instructor ocasionally getting lost at the board. Also, things like that can be a real bitch if you fuck up a sign or something else simple early on. (which in my current state is really easy to do.... but I could totally tell you HOW to go about jsut about anything)

No I'm not. I finished my last class over the summer so I'm done forever. The day of the final was probably the best day of my life :P

nooooo...that's very sad for you....:(

math is so misunderstood....:o

happens all the time :o (scared to go to the doctor now ehren?) :(

Haha, I'm OK. I've had a couple of surgeries in my lifetime and so far the only surprise I've had was the pins in my leg that my parents forgot to mention until they took the cast off :P
