Hey all.
I know a lot of you have missed me. Modesty might make me describe that as a surprise, but since I've missed you all, too, I guess it's not that surprising.
What has been a surprise has been how many people took it personally, as if it was something I was doing to them, or as if it were because of something they might have done to me.
Just to clear that up: it's not. Besides the very real busyness with which I've been occupied, the real major issue seems to be how I can adjust to the change in my personal role, from someone who was involved in everything, to someone who maybe gets to say Hi every once in a while. It was easier not to come at all ...
I'm still learning. Things like who I am, and what it means for me to be here (wherever I happen to be.) It'll be some time yet before I'm perfect. :-P I'll keep working on it if you will.
As for the news: "discovery" on the divorce case is finished. And the new protective order that the wife swore out, describing my supposed hiring or persuading people to stalk her, hack her computers, take photos of her in public, etc., was thrown out of court for lack of evidence, which should be obvious, because why would I do any of that stuff?
Anyway ... it makes me realize that she has issues of her own. Obviously, she has anxiety, and a certain amount of paranoia going on. I'd even feel a bit of sympathy if I weren't the target of it all. Being relatively harmless, however, I just have a hard time understanding it.
So ... I hope you'll all behave, and I know you well enough to know that you won't. :-P
Just take care of each other, okay?
In the long run, that's really what we're all here for.
