Kingslor, yeah I've been trying to do the same thing when not talking about my personal stories. One person just seems to be on here with an agenda. And instead of seeing that he is the common denominator in these arguments, he accuses us of being the same person. Otherwise he'd have to acknowledge that he just might be wrong. I have tried to engage him in logical debate, but that clearly isn't what he wants. He starts to attack the person in a subtle way. I happen to be one of those people that are smart enough to pick up on it. This time I just lost it. I hope in the future he stays the fuck off my posts. Nothing he says is logical. He'll always go to his statistics (the ones that support his "opinion"). Most intelligent people know that statistics can be manipulated into supporting just about anything you want. I'm starting to wonder if in fact he is an actual person on here for personal reasons. Or if he's actually getting paid by some organization with an agenda.

You know that statement is true so you want it removed. You're not a victim here buddy. And I have no problem continuing to call you out. I believe this is VERY constructive on this site. People that are trying to perpetuate a lie by the scientific community should be called out. Making people falsely believe that everything is just fine and dandy in not the answer. Plus it undermines the real feelings of the people that are genuinely on here cause they are suffering and that just want to share their stories and have others relate to it.

Well c'mon, just which of MY posts are you objecting to, hmm? I was subjected to the usual outburst of crankish provocation, and I flagged it up and complained about it - simple as that.

In my opinion, you guys tolerate far too much in the way of personal insults. Just read back through my history: I have never used insults, vulgar language, etc. against another poster. Never once. Yet I am continually bombarded with nutty hated filled vitriol.

Is it a reasonable way to run a serious forum? I'm not so sure.

Maybe I should set up a rival forum after all? :-)

i don't think taiji should've attacked or insulted you, but at the same time, i don't think he has more than one account, or that his experiences are fabricated or even exaggerated. i have absolutely no problem with your statistical approach, but i think he sort of felt you dismiss his painful experiences, which made him lose it. again he should've been more respectful, but what's done is done; i suggest you guys make up and start over.

There is nothing productive about inciteful posts and accusations being thrown at one another.

When feeling triggered by something, try stepping away and not responding when angered. I know that isn't always easy. Try keeping the discussion about your own feelings or supporting others. I have learned too that sometimes it is best to not respond if another person seems to be trying to incite or instigate me. I'd do better to step away and take care of my own needs.

It's to the point now where if behaviors don't change I'm going to be forced to start giving official warnings and time outs.

Please let's work together to help one another.

Klingsor, a "troll" is someone who posts in an inflammatory and unconstructive way, with the sole intention of starting an argument. It is rather obvious, I think, which posts meet these criteria.

As for the term "crank", yes, it does kind of imply that someone is unstable, unreasonable, etc. Perhaps it is a harsh term to use, but I'm not aware that I have levelled it specifically at one person. There are after all, as you yourself insist, more than one persons behind these attacks, right? ;-)

Yes to both. You don't have to be hurling profanity laden insults to be a troll. Some are extremely slippery in baiting people into lashing out with the hidden goal of having them banned, or at least muzzled to some degree, and many are quite skilled at this.

Here is the bottom line of why I think Roger and I are clashing. A person with SPS does not think he has SPS. We think we have a SP...period!!! The reason it's called a syndrome is because it goes against the scientific averages which state that he is wrong. After all, if he didn't think he had a small penis, he wouldn't have SPS, now would he? Everyone on this forum is convinced they have a small penis. Trying to convince a person that is 100% convinced that it is not just in his head, BASED ON HIS PERSONAL LIFE EXPERIENCES, is never going to work. My personal life experiences will absolutely outweigh a study done by doctors. If I have been with a very small sample size of women then I would give more merit to statistical averages.
