Too bad you are feeling stressed out with your nursing job Luna. I agree though that you need to do whatever is best for your overall well being. Finding a job that won't push you over the edge of stress ville is healthiest.

Mike, can Domino swim? You might find him in the pool doing the breast stroke. What breed dogs are the puppies at the service dog organization?

I'll be returning to work next week but it's been nice spending extra time with the kids. It won't be long before a few are off to sleep away camp and 2 will be doing day camp. Our new addition isn't ready for any version of camp.

I got totally distracted from looking for a job, since I got sick...and despite my extreme efforts mom got this terrible cold...I am closely watching over her to make sure this does not turn into pneumonia..she is of course at risk for that..I have to keep her in a upright position most of the time..may end up with a pressure sore doing this but I think thats the lesser of the 2 evils..she sounds terrible. I can't believe after being exposed all winter long to a lot of nasty bugs she and I managed to stay healthy..then bam one little nasty cold.. I think once she is out of the woods with this..we will both be exhausted...if its not one thing its another.

hope your mom will feel better soon It is odd many of my old people didnt get sick during the winter but a bunch have gotten sick when spring came

alright clowns Domino cant reach the bottom of the entire pool only part of it and he does know how to swim so no floaties for him needed when I take him to the beach he has his own swim vest thats for safety just in case he gets in trouble he will stay above water and I can see him fast cuz its bright orange not like he is hard to spot but dont wanna take chances with my big guy so if he needs help I can get to him fast

there is 3 litters of puppies that will be ready to go with their foster parents in July 26 puppies and Domino and I get 7th pick so will be lots of choices they train 3 breeds Golden retrievers, Labs, standard poodles and then the cross of Goldendoodles and Labradoodles

anyway let mrs hotspot know I wanna go to camp too Domino and me need a packed bag with goodies

My birthday is friday so we should have entire weekend bash pool party and bbq it might be hard gettin shannon and luna to share the slide have a feeling mrs hotspot will be standing by with suntan lotion for everyone I have to take my old people to walmart tomorrow gonna have to stock up on some beach towels dont wanna use my bath towels

so yeah this weekend is party time for all of us sorry no horsy beach towels or dolphins but I did get 8 new beach towels 2 are from finding nemo 2 are bright stripes with swirls 2 have ocean life whales starfish and 2 are of polar bears with bathing suits ridin on water tubes down a waterfall so hurry and pick your favorite I got one of the polorbear ones

I like hearing hotspot is at the grill it is a nice grill plenty of room for all our bbq food I can see shannon ridin Domino The slide is way cool I didnt want it to short or too high so went with one in the middle and its windy a little and you slide right down without gettin stuck because water from the pool trickles down the sides keepin it nice and slick

Domino is really liking the pool and he would like a stack of burgers without buns

I did have birthday dinner and show friends took me to strip club the food sucked Im not much of a drinker and nasty gals flinging their fun bags around doesnt do anything for me some of the gifts I got were thankfully a lot better tomorrow some of my old people are taking me to lunch well I have to pick them up and stuff and I dont know where we are going but they are buying me lunch and gonna give me more gifts

I agree Mike...no matter how hard I work for it..there is always something more around the corner...I guess thats a way to keep us going. I had to laugh a little about your night out with the guys, only because you remind me so much of a friend of mine..she is quite a bit younger than me but in a lot ways she is older than me, mentally anyway...her other friend and I joke and say that she was born at 29..she just turned 30, yet she has done do much with her life already. Somehow, I see you enjoying lunch with your old people more.. I know I would rather do something like that then getting drunk and waking up with a bad headache.

I glad Domino liked the cookies..I still wiping off the slobber.

I hope you enjoyed lunch out with your elderly friends more so, than you did at the strip club. I really don't understand the attraction of those places. Many guys from work over the years have held countless parties at those types of establishments. Even the ones set up in not as seedy an environment aren't a turn on. Several of the guys rave about these places and I can't help wonder if we were at the same place. I chalk it up to everyone having different ice cream flavor preferences.

Mike did warn me about the type of place his friends were having his get together at. I was unsure until the very last moment whether I would attend. I did not enjoy it. It was loud with a lot of intoxicated people shouting horrible things at the various dancers. I felt bad for these women up on the stage showing what I think should be private all for dollar bills being throw at them. It is not a place I would like to return to. I do know what this type of place is like now and for that I suppose I have learned something. Hospot your wife does not mind you going to these kinds of places?

No, my wife doesn't mind my going. She knows how I feel about strip clubs and more importantly she knows where my heart ultimately resides. One of the many attributes I love about my wife is her confidence. A few friends have girlfriends and wives that feel threatened by their significant others visiting these clubs.

I guess I am not to suprised Jedidiah that you found the strip club a bit distasteful. I myself don't understand it, but at the same time I am not threatened by it all. We have a strip club here on the edge of our small little town. The girls use to stay in the motel that was located in the back of the club, not a nice place at all, it has sense burned down. When I was with the fire dept. we would get many medical calls there, mostly for the women who overdosed on drugs. This club was not a ritzy place like you see in the bigger cities..it is a run down place, I think if the guys were not so intoxicated and it was a bit more light, they wouldn't really find this girls so attractive..when we saw them the were the kind the we would say they "Looked like they were rode hard and put away wet". They looked older beyond their years, now thats sad..I don't think its like that in the bigger cities however. It must of been a learning experience for you for sure.

Just wanted to let you guys know I am not in a good place at all, I am going to do my best to survive it. But I don't like where my mind is taking me so far....

Shannon, I'm sorry to read you are feeling so, bad. Maybe it is really time for you to walk in to speak with someone at that clinic bypassing the multiple month wait without even a scheduled appointment. I realize it isn't a quick fix however, it could get you back on the road to feeling better.

The clinic I was referred to called back, even though the said it would be a 2 month waiting list the lady said they prioratize so I have an appt next Monday, in the meantime county mental health said in a crisis I could walk in there, almost did a couple of times..it just that all they have there right no is crisis intervention, they are without a psychiatrist or a psychiatric nurse, but the are hoping to fill those positions....thats why the referred me to the clinic. We will see, anyway, I am taking it moment by moment. I know my stress level is worse due to mom getting worse..she's not at deaths door, but has sever cognitive issues. Its hard to deal with it.

Really hope they can help you at that appointment. Hang in as best you can ...
