Sorry, man, i disagree.

I've certainly heard guys -- white as well as black -- brag about their supposed sexual potency, sure;

but 90% of that is false and everybody knows it.

It's in rap music and TV, too; but popular culture is a cesspool of brainless stupidity and heartless shaming.

It's a mistake to think that this somehow represents an underlying reality.

Brothers are not some sexual super-race, and that isn't even what they want.

What most of them i've talked to want is, for white people to stop stereotyping them,

so that they can get job interviews, live a normal life, and not get harassed (or god forbid, shot) by the police.

Which doesn't strike me as unreasonable.

Instead, here we are talking about black men and sex. What a waste of time and energy.

Well, as i wrote, inf_rad, i think the cultural disdain is there, but only within a small subculture.

Take a look at an analogous situation: there's a cultural disdain for Muslims, too, but it's not a majority opinion.

We only hear the anti-Muslim rhetoric here in the U.S, partly because CNN and FoxNews like a good Hate Story (it's more dramatic than reasoned dialogue), and partly because haters crave attention and publicity more than people like me do.

So, in a similar vein: you're only hearing the anti-white/anti-male campaign, in large part because your BBC thinks that women and black guys with white male friends are boring. And also, i'm sure, because the BBC instinctively goes to Oxbridge to find their "experts on the subject," which is where the haters are likely to be.

When you said BBC I wasn't sure whether you were talking about the British Broadcasting Corporation, or the... well, you know!

Why do they find black men more sexually desirable than any other race?

Actually, an overall majority of white women go for white men, but in places where they have the opportunity to meet each other, significant numbers of white women go for black men.

Why though do (some) white women like black men? There are a number of reasons. Some of the main ones are:

• Because they are perceived as alpha males (on a subconscious level) - they have managed to enter white society and white men have not resisted
  
• Because they are perceived as physically strong, masculine and dominant
  
• Because they are perceived as exotic (lessens inbreeding)
  
• Because they are promoted to white women in the media - television, advertising, etc
  
• So that they can make white men feel worthless, dejected, and unwanted
  

White women with black men isn't the only type of interracial relationship that exists, but it does seem to be the main one. Maybe in America it's different because of lots of Asian women with white men, but there are significantly less East Asian people in the UK and Europe than there are in North America.

Points to make...

African-Americans are NOT culturally the same as Africans in UK/Europe. Many of the problems that African-Americans have don't apply (certainly not to the same extent) to Africans in the UK/Europe. Many of those who promote the idea of "white privilege" are Americans who talk about economic discrepancies between white and black people; but America is not the world and in the city where I live it's possible to see black people (and other non-whites) with fancy cars and nice houses and generally a lot more money than a lot of white people.

I said there was cultural disdain within Western society (certainly American society) for white men, and you said that the same was true for Muslims. That is also true. But look at the media difference: there is not ONE mainstream media outlet that actually says positive things about white people as a group specifically, but you can find many media outlets saying things like "terrorism has no religion" and "Islam is a religion of peace", sticking up for Muslims.

The main difference is that the left likes to believe in what I like to call "evil white man theory". This is the view that white hetero men are responsible for all the world's evils (and are the root cause of problems caused by other groups - e.g. bad behaviour by black people is explained as being part of a legacy of slavery or colonialism or apartheid), and also benefit from the privileges they enjoy as white men. Evil white man theory is found in academia, in popular culture, and in left-wing news media.

Evil white man theory is of course bullshit. Here are some reasons why it's bullshit:

• Saying that all white men are inherently predisposed towards evil because some white men did morally unscrupulous things historically is like saying that all Chinese people have great philosophical abilities because Confucius was Chinese - in other words it's ridiculous not to treat people as individuals with their own moral agency separate from the ethnic group or race they belong to
  
• As the obverse of what I've just said, denying moral agency to individuals of certain groups because of real or perceived past injustices against their ethnic group or race is ridiculous as it's not treating them as individual humans with their own choices to make. It's also possible to argue that rather than being a bad thing, European colonialism of the third world delivered a lot of benefits to the colonised peoples and stimulated economic development and social progress in those regions
  
• White men are not privileged from a biological-reproductive point of view, nor are they privileged sexually. That is to say, the white race is on the way out. All other "privileges", real or perceived, go out the window when this fundamentally important fact is taken into account.
  

Can you point me to a time when I've ever said that ALL white women were attracted to black men? I have never believed that.

All I'm trying to do is convince an above-average-in-every-respect, self hating white guy that if he's going to wake up every day and live in turmoil and chronic existential angst because he's white and post 90 pages of the same ambiguously self hating comments on a mental health forum, to least do so for the right reasons.

So the accusation that only trashy people obsess over penis size is another bullshit bone thrown out to deflect attention from the fact that the issue is interracial porn, I.e. Interracial SEX pure and simple. I fail to see the moral high ground. If penis size isn't inextricably identifiable with the popularity of interracial porn (the "BBC") and the superiority of the black man's sexual prowess, then I want a simple answer as to what is.

Is it simply black skin? An overabundance of melanin? Are testosterone levels correlated with melanin levels? If blacks have greater levels of testosterone, how does this communicate itself to women? Aggressiveness? Physique? Sex organs?

IR is self admittedly, larger, bigger and more masculine than the average, so where is the difference? That's all I want to know.

However, I also have a lot of personal problems in my life too. So there's plenty of reasons for me not to like myself.

A lot of the time, when males have problems, it is blamed on sexual frustration or "not getting laid". It's a classic tactic. Well, last time I had the chance to get laid, which was last month, I didn't even bother. I could have easily gotten sex but I went away and left a girl in her bed without having sex with her. This is actually true.

"Getting laid", if that means having a one-night stand or two-night stand or brief fling, means nothing in the long term. A lasting relationship will make a difference to how you feel about yourself.

I had a fat and unattractive woman get into bed with me last month, and you know what I did?

I went away and left her and drove home in the middle of the night. Why? Because I just didn't find her attractive. I find some fat women attractive, but not all.

My thought is that if a pattern of thinking becomes obsessive, it likely doesn't help to continue giving it more energy. It might even keep us from looking at deeper problems...like how we feel about ourselves.

Today I was in a shop and saw some weird stuff...

The first weird thing was seeing an older white woman probably aged between 60 and 75 with a mixed-race (half black/half white) baby. I assumed that it was her daughter's baby, but a short while afterwards I noticed that a black woman probably aged about 30 was with her. Explain that one to me?

The second weird thing was seeing an attractive blonde white woman probably in her 30s with a black man and they were obviously a couple, but the woman's daughter was with her and she looked just like her mother, blonde and pale skinned and blue eyed with no possible black genes. Explain that one to me?

The most plausible explanations for these are that in the first case, the older woman is the mother of the father of the black woman's baby. In the second case it's probably the case that the child was born from a previous relationship with a white man.

But there are other possible explanations. In the first case, the child could be the older woman's daughter's baby and the black woman could be the sister of the father of the baby. In the second case, the daughter could actually be the woman's niece.

It's things like this that make me want to live in a remote and rural area to get away from stuff like this.
