If you were in therapy, you would be learning strategies. Because so much did not happen for you growing up, it is going to take something of an effort on your part to get to a better place. Right now you don't believe you even can. I believe you can. It isn't as impossible as you think, and it can get to be wonderous.

Hi Blossom. What I think is hard is trying to realize that your family won't make you happy, you have to make yourself happy. It's hard when you try to work with what you have and it doesn't work out.

Your best is good enough, that's all you can give. If that's not enough for them, than they are the ones with the problem. It's just hard to think that way because you are talking about your parents.

I feel bad for thinking it because sometimes they are nice to me, although mostly they are not. They're not even here right now and I'm upset over them. it's stupid.

Yeah, I feel guilty alot for the how I feel. But I don't try to feel the way I do, I am trying to learn not to feel guilty. But my parents are good at laying on the guilt trips.

It's tough because you carry them with you. That's supposed to be a good thing. Since that is not working out so well, you will need to work on a different support system for you.

I'm OK, Blossom. I just get emotional sometimes....

I have a funny story:

A few weeks ago I went to the movies with a friend [rocker boy] and we were sitting in our seats waiting for the film to start, minding our own business when the girl getting into the seat behind us dropped her box of popcorn on his head. It was very funny because he has big curly hair and whatever way the box landed it ended up sitting upside down on his head. Then when he pulled the box off there was popcorn stuck all over his hair. Ha, I had to try not to laugh:)

There are so many choices! Today I would like to be the giant 8 foot Indian cup plant, soar against the blue sky, waving my yellow prairie sunflower faces in the breeze, and slosh around the rainwater gathered in the cups my leaves form at the stem.....

Oooh, I've never seen one of them plants before... I don't think they have them over here..

They are from the days when prairies were everywhere in the midwest. I totally love prairie plants.
