Ok i'll try that, but i'll probably get given out to... daddy always convinces me to go to work in the end.. but really, if i don't use up my sick days by the end of the year, i will get none of that money....so it would kinda make sense to take a day off....!

Oprah had people reading A NEW EARTH last year, have you guys heard of it? I'm just bringing that up because it is a book about learning these meditation, mindfulness techniques that can really help with depression and anxiety. It took me a while to be patient with it, but then I got it and it really really helped me. It's tough for me to explain these things, I guess I'll keep trying from time to time because it is worth it. Hope ye all have a better day today. Remember to get some ice cream:p!

we only get white ones and brown ones I think! oh wow, i've never seen either of those birds before. i was in the petshop this morning and there was a talking parrot in there!! he kept saying hi and singing mamma mia!! it was funny:)

That is funny. Parrots are very passionate, I hear. They became very attached to the person they love, and get real upset when they don't get to be with them.

i'd love a parrot but they're very expensive... it'd be fun to have a talking birdie!!! i think the nearest i'm going to get to a pet is a goldfish right now..

I got a pet goldfish!!! I discovered he liked lima beans if I took the skin off. I kept feeding him, and he kept eating them, and now he is a foot long! I had to build a pond for him!!!

whoa, that's a biiiiiiggg fish!!!!!!!!! what's his name? i had a pet goldfish when i was small and one night i left his bowl beside the cooker (!!!) and he jumped out and got cooked:( he turned from gold to black:( i think fish are kinda scary.. that's funny about the lima beans!!! one of my neighbours has a big boxer dog and he discovered that he likes bananas so now he gets fed bananas..

Oh, that is a sad pet story:( and about the boxer, now I've heard everything,,,a dog that likes bananas! Andy is my fish! He is a papa; I got 2 more fish when I built the pond, and now there are something like 200 fish!

the woman who used to mind me when i was small had a goldfish pond aswel and she used to bring me out and show me all the fish. i have another sad pet story aswel...one time when i was small daddy entered me in this competition thing and i won a sheep(don't ask!!!) but anyway, i got given the sheep and then we brought her home( i called her rosie) and then a few days later i noticed she was gone and i found out that daddy had sent her off to be killed and made into food:( they ate her for dinner:(

THAT is not a nice thing to do to a child :mad:

yeah i know.. i think that helped me turn vegetarian... another time when i was about 9 daddy brought me home a puppy and he was so cute and i loved him but then one day he went missing and i put up posters around my area with his photo and i looked everywhere for him but i couldn't find him and then i found out last year that they gave him away:(

I had a pet chicken tied to a string I walked with for a short time. I remember drawing the landscape while the chicken pecked at stuff. I'm such an animist, sometimes I feel connected to nearly anything that shows up when I go for a walk. It could be a leaf that blows down into my path....

awww, chickens are so cute...!!! my neighbour had some when i was small. i wish i could feel connected to everything like that. what's your favourite type of weather? mine is wind!!

There's an awesome morning breeze right now! I love clouds and sky and rain (sorry--it doesn't happen as much over here!) and snowstorms, especially. Blue sky and clouds after a rain is cool too.

no, i've never tried to paint wind but that's a good idea!!! we don't get snowstorms over here.

Well winter feels too long here, but I do love fresh snow. NOT YET though!!!!

we got a little bit of snow last christmas but it melted nearly straight away.. i don't like how cold snow is but i think it looks pretty.
