They're at it again... :'(

well, my day was just going a lot better, things were quiet and nice and i was finally getting a bit of relaxation time, i knew it was too good to last. I was just trying to get some more of my work done and i hear my parents raising their voices, and i knew what was about to happen...

mom and dad got into yet another physical confrontation, this time over someting trivial no doubt that escalated into a terrible sight. I don't want to get into much detail about what exactly went on, but i am sure that there are going to be some bruises on both of them tomorrow.

am still quite shook up from the whole ordeal, i kept yelling for them to stop but they didn't for a few minutes. now legs feel like spaghetti noodles and heart is about to leap out of my chest. right now they are still arguing verbally, but i am pretty sure that the physical part is over.

just got done consoling my little sister, since she seemed to be more shook up than i was. things just seem to be getting worse and worse around here, i wish that they would go on and just divorce already, since its obvious that they can no longer live together safely.

i do, but the counselor doesn't really like me. when i was choosing classes last year, she had me in anatomy and i wanted to switch out of it because i didn't want to do any dissecting, and she told me to "man up and just take it. you need the credits". she isn't very understanding at all.

I can't stand people like that! It is her job to offer counsel and guidance not pick and choose whom she likes and dislikes...ugh seriously! I thought about being a school counselor before I settled on medical school....so many kids need hello that can't get it.

I just found this on another website.

When you start to feel your breathing quicken, work consciously to breathe slowly and deeply. You can do this while sitting or even lying down. Shut your eyes and concentrate on every step of your breath. If you’re having trouble slowing down, try breathing in deeply, holding it for a moment or two, and exhaling slowly.

Breathing is the first part. You should do this next part once you can slow your breathing a bit.

When it comes to learning how to control your panic attacks, relaxing your muscles can be one of the most difficult steps to achieve, especially when it involves your facial muscles. Oftentimes you may be clenching your jaw, furrowing your brow, or wrinkling your forehead without even realizing it. Your posture may also become stiff and tense, resulting in neck and back pain.

You can ease the pain of tense muscles by consciously relaxing your muscles one by one. Lie down on a comfortable surface and close your eyes. Breathing deeply and calmly, conjure every muscle you can think of from your scalp down and make an effort to relax them. This relief of tension also releases endorphins, which help ease many of the symptoms of anxiety attacks.

Well 90 bpm is not too bad but it is most likely that high because of stresses in your life. I can not tell you anything more without doing a workup...but I am just rambling

I'd ask your doctor about your heart rate when you next see her. It doesn't sound too bad to me, but I think it is a bit fast.

Try and get your heart rate as close to normal as you can. Maybe listen to those 3D sounds you told me about. Turn the lights off. Do whatever you can...

Musicman...peoples normal heartrate can differ quite a bit...but what he should have his dr check is his blood pressure because he can have a fast heartbeat and normal blood pressure BUT his heartrate can cause his blood pressure to soar hence the symptoms he was describing tonight are right on target for elevated bp.

oh, cindy, i get my bloodpressure checked by the machines in the Rite aids. i do it just to see where i am at. Blood pressure is always in the normal range, but heartrate is always elevated.

that's good, but my last doctor visit also revealed similar results, she was a bit concerned but attributed it mostly to stress.

thanks MM, i do feel a tiny bit better now, its a noticeable difference.

right now im working on photo restoration, getting some old ones that i've scanned and just restoring them and making them look good.

i also was manipulating some people in some fun ways earlier, like making a female version of the "thing" from the fantastic 4.
