Well, for one thing, that way, I already know how they feel. ;-) Another is that helping other people actually makes you feel better (that's how heroes get paid.)

We all have more power than we realize. But it is good practice; I don't turn inward as much when I get sad, any more. Hiding doesn't actually help. I just grew up thinking it would.
