Lox is a kind of cream cheese, I think, that is associated with bagels and Jewish people. A bar-mitzvah is the ceremony when a Jewish boy comes of age, around 13; bat- is for girls. And you know what dread-locks are. That head sculpture has them.

They'd probably let you switch sooner, if you made the effort. The school doesn't want students failing or dropping out, after all. Their success rate is what they sell to new students.
